Church Clean-up – THIS SATURDAY
We need your help clearing out our second floor Christian Education wing as we prepare
for some renovations. Bring your back brace, knee brace or just your glasses! There’s
work for all strengths and abilities. We need people who can move furniture, boxes,
and other stuff between floors, but we also need people who can sit and clean out
files or shelves. Come for an hour or as long as there is work to do (and believe
it, there’s a LOT to do!)
Clean up dates and times are:
Saturday, January 27th from 8-11 AM
Saturday, February 3rd from 10 AM – 1 PM
Saturday, February 10th from 8-11 AM

Last week in worship, we presented our commitments for how we will support God’s
work through our church in 2018. If you have not turned in your commitment card,

Worship Sneak Peek
Join us this Sunday (1/28) in worship as we continue our exploration of who Jesus
was and still is for us today. In our scripture this week, we hear Jesus preaching
in the synagogue and exorcising a suffering man. While our minds reel at the thought
of demon possession, we all struggle with things in our lives that seem to control
us and leave us powerless, like depression, addiction, or self-doubt. Join us on
Sunday as we explore how Jesus brought freedom to those bound by forces stronger
than they could control, and how we too might experience this healing and liberating
Jesus in our lives.
