Back to School Collection Going On Now!
The Outreach Committee is collecting school supplies to be donated to 180 Turning
Lives Around. All school supplies are acceptable. If you donate scissors, please
make sure they are rounded end (not pointed) and no plastic. Please place donation
in the box by the back door. Thanks in advance!

Volunteer on The Village Tech Team
If you have experience with sound and light boards, visual presentation software,
or simply like to learn new technologies, please consider signing up for a rotation
on the Tech Team for our new service. A training session will be offered early in

Sign Up to be a Seed
We are quickly approaching the launch of our new worship service! We have a handful
of people who have committed to attending the new service, but we still need more.
The goal is to “seed” the congregation with 30 attendees. As the congregation grows
by new people from the community connecting with the church, the “seeds” will be
released from their commitment. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Jess

Worship Sneak Peek
Join us this Sunday (8/13) in worship as we kick off a new sermon series, “Life
Lessons from Mission”. Our theme for the first week is “Life is Hard – Life is Good,”
reflecting on how we often get caught up in the negative talk of life, rather than
looking for the blessings that surround us. When we’re feeling challenged by our
situations, it is important to keep perspective – to give thanks for our blessings
